Here's a link to the Prog Rock Magazine website, where they have posted samples from three songs from the upcoming Squackett album--the new band featuring Steve Hackett and Chris Squire.  The music sounds very good--much like I expected.  A very full symphonic prog sound, with Hackett's and Squire's distinctive instruments.

Went to Greg Lake's "Songs of a Lifetime" show in Atlanta last night (4/26/12). I highly recommend that you go if you get a chance. The evening is divided about equally between music and reminiscences, with an audience Q&A segment. Greg has some great stories and is quite the raconteur. The music includes songs from throughout Greg's career, as well as songs by artists who influenced him. The latter category includes songs like Elvis' "Heartbreak Hotel," the Beatles' "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away," Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready," and Hendrix' "Axis: Bold as Love." The Lake songs include "From the Beginning," "Still . . . You Turn Me On," a medley of "Epitaph" and "In the Court of the Crimson King," "I Talk to the Wind," "Lucky Man" (of course), and much more. He plays and sings with pre-recorded backing tracks, so the sound of the music is quite full, but the setting remains intimate and personal. A great evening for any fan of Lake, Crimson or ELP.

AIRE - ALAS - 1976

A short piece by the Argentinian band Alas. This is just a sample of the music produced by this great band. They're certainly on a part with classic bands like PFM, Focus, Trace, etc. If they'd been from the US or the UK, and had lyrics in English, they'd have been huge in the '70's.

YES 2nd Known TV appearance only 18 months as a band RARE!

The second appearance of Yes on TV from 1970. A great, and well-recorded version of "Beyond and Before."
